Red Wing’s moc-toe classic work oxfords were inspired by the success of the iconic 875 and 877 work boots. While the crew on the factory floor needed a tall and sturdy work boot, the factory manager who moved back and forth from their office desk to the factory floor sought a sturdy oxford. Lighter in weight because of its lower profile, Red Wing work oxfords could stand up to the hard concrete floors and not be too heavy for an entire day spent behind a desk. As many of these managers started their careers on the factory floor, continuing to wear a Red Wing product was only natural. They appreciated the comfort and durability Red Wing built into every pair of their legendary work boots and shoes.

The 8152 was built to meet the demands of factory managers who needed a sturdy work shoe as they moved from their office to the factory floor. The moc toe oxford employs Black Chrome leather, a Traction Tred sole, Goodyear welt construction and triple stitched quality.
